An important part of camp is learning. Check out some of these sample lesson plans to get an idea of the fun you can have while learning Danish language and culture.

Frugt Salat

  1. Give the campers each a fruit name, for example: æble, banan, pær, appelsin.
  2. Make a circle with one less chair than campers.
  3. One camper stands in the center of the circle, while all the others sit on the chairs. The person in the center calls out one of the fruit names.
  4. Everyone with that fruit name must get up and trade chairs.
  5. The person in the center then moves to steal the chair of another camper.
  6. The new person left in the center calls out another fruit name.
  7. The person in the center can also call out “Frugt Salat.” Then all the campers must move chairs.
