Himmelbjerget Danish camp is a camp for young people from the 4th through 12th grade. Most children attending the camp have parents of Danish descent but we also welcome others who are interested in Danish language and culture. It is the only camp of its kind in the Northwest.

The camp is held in Corbett, Oregon at the Menucha Retreat & Conference Center, just 22 miles East of Portland

About Menucha

Menucha is located on the south side of the Columbia River Gorge, in Corbett, Oregon. It has a rural environment, and is located inside the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, yet Menucha is still conveniently close to metropolitan Portland. Guests arrange their own transportation.

Menucha is 30-40 minutes from air, bus, and train terminals, and freeways I-84 and I-205 provide easy access by car from all directions. Specific driving instructions will be found on the map above. Please contact us if you have any questions.
